GMA Design Group’s interior design team recently partnered with ARCO/Murray National Construction Company to deliver a thoughtfully designed two-story office space for Invenergy’s Illuminate USA, the U.S.-based headquarters for a global leader in solar panel manufacturing. This project presented a unique opportunity to align interior architecture with the client’s mission of innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement in the renewable energy sector.
At the heart of the space is a striking, modern showroom that serves as both a functional welcome center and an immersive brand experience. Designed to host clients and partners from around the world, the showroom highlights Invenergy’s legacy, global reach, and cutting-edge solar panel production process. Clean lines, high-contrast materials, and dynamic lighting create a sophisticated and forward-looking environment that mirrors the precision and innovation of the company’s products.
Throughout the workplace—from open office areas and private conference rooms to shared amenities such as the break room and kitchen—the design language draws inspiration from the visual rhythm and geometry of solar panels in their natural environment. Subtle angular forms, layered textures, and integrated technological features evoke the structure and repetition found in photovoltaic arrays, while maintaining a warm and approachable palette for everyday use.
The resulting space is both functional and symbolic: it supports productivity and collaboration while visually reinforcing Illuminate USA’s identity as a trailblazer in clean energy.
